I’m a PhD candidate in Design Engineering at Imperial College London, where my research uses machine learning to make autonomous systems smarter and safer.
Teaching came first, though. Over the past ten years I have taught Maths and Science to more than 600 GCSE and A-Level students, in small weekly classes that I teach personally, every week of the school year.
My method is simple: break each topic into clear, confident steps, then train the exam technique that turns understanding into marks. Students leave knowing why an answer works, not just how to repeat it. That is the difference between a grade 6 and a grade 9.
Away from the whiteboard, I am usually mentoring students on their university choices or building new tools to make STEM teaching more engaging.

Classes are in-person small-group sessions at our venues across North London, serving Muswell Hill, Crouch End and Southgate. Each subject has one 2-hour session per week, taught directly by Danish. We confirm your nearest venue at the free assessment.
Maths and Science from Year 7 through to GCSE (including Triple Science) and A-Level. GCSE teaching is exam-board focused, with mark-scheme-driven answer technique built into every topic.

Fees are collected by monthly Direct Debit, spread evenly across the academic year based on the number of lessons remaining, so you pay the same amount each month. We set this up with you after the free assessment. You can join at any point in the year; fees are calculated from your start date. Missed sessions are not refunded; lessons in lieu for absences due to illness are at the tutor's discretion and may require a doctor's note. Please speak to the tutor directly.
Students get structured homework after every session, and ISM's homework support tools help them get unstuck between classes. Parents receive regular updates on progress.
Lessons follow the school calendar, starting the first Monday of September. We break for October half term, two weeks at Christmas, February half term and Easter. The one exception is May half term: classes run as normal because exams are close.
Your child's safety comes first. ISM Tutoring is run by an Enhanced-DBS-checked tutor and operates under written safeguarding and conduct policies, the same standard you would expect from a school. You can read them in full here:
